SENIOR QA ENGINEER (66090)

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer for the development center of an international financial service provider in Vienna to perform quality assurance tasks in an agile environment, – including manual and automated testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Critically evaluate requirements to identify gaps or inconsistencies
  • Identify, document, and prioritize edge cases and issues based on business impact and risk
  • Collaborate effectively with developers, product teams, and management
  • Work with tools such as Jira, TestRail, Postman, and Fiddler
  • Contribute to performance testing using tools like JMeter
  • Prioritize testing tasks in alignment with project timelines and goals

Required Skills And Competencies

  • In-depth understanding of QA best practices, standards, and quality metrics
  • Strong analytical skills to detect, isolate, and report bugs effectively
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive mindset
  • Hands-on experience with testing mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter)

Qualifications

  • University degree in IT, Mobile Computing, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 5+ years of experience as a QA engineer
  • Solid understanding of QA roles in an Agile/SCRUM development environment
  • Extensive experience testing applications on mobile devices
  • Experience with mobile payment devices is a strong plus
  • Basic knowledge of Java is a plus
