Software Architect

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Software Architect to join our UniQue team.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Manage the development team and all the strategic projects assigned to it, as well as the risks and stakeholders.
• Work with the Business analyst to gather requirements and created the roadmaps for each year.
• Plan the projects and created the necessary artefacts.
• Organise and manage user acceptance testing campaigns (UAT).
• Follow up of new technologies and eventual adoption by the sector.
• Development and integration of multiple information systems or modules into corporate solutions.
• Assistance with deployment and configuration of the systems.
• Support the efficient project team work by putting in place and following agile practices.

What do you need to succeed in this position?

• Master's degree in IT field with minimum 13 years of relevant experience (or Bachelor's degree with minimum 17 years of relevant experience).
• Proven 10 years experience in Java-related technologies, including J2EE, JSP, JDBC, Log4J,XML/XSL/XSLT, XQuery, XPath and Oracle WebLogic.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in service-oriented architecture and web services: RESTful API, SOAP,WSDL, JAX-WS, JAX-RS, Oracle Service Bus, YAML.
• Strong experience in relational database management systems Oracle SQL, PL/SQL.
• Excellent knowledge of the design and development of web applications.
• Strong knowledge of web technologies and standards (e.g. HTML5, XML).
• Excellent experience of coding best practices, software design and architecture patterns.
• Good knowledge of IT security concepts and secure coding guidelines.

Desirable:

• A PM professional certification would be an asset.
