We are looking for a product owner in banking at Aktia IT to work both in small-scale development and application maintenance

Our unit oversees the development and maintenance of banking and life insurance applications. We work in close collaboration with both business areas, but also in application development and with our maintenance partners.
Our team is small but capable and consists of experienced and competent specialists with broad responsibilities who act independently in their respective areas of responsibility. We give you responsibility, but also support you in taking ownership of your duties. Although the work is independent, you will not have to tackle tasks alone. We particularly appreciate an active and independent approach to work, as well as openness and a can-do attitude.
About the position
As a product owner, you oversee the small-scale development, functionality and implementation of banking in cooperation with the business area, partners and other specialists in the team. You will also strongly participate in the incident and problem management within your area and lead agreed cooperation forums.
The tasks relate to:
- leading partner cooperation and collaborating with Aktia's business areas in the capacity of both service manager and product owner
- ensuring functional and high-quality small-scale development
- ensuring the functionality of continuous services, assessing incidents, handling problem registrations related incidents, and advancing repairs
- monitoring service levels (SLA)
You are also involved in planning and implementing development projects and continuous improvements.
