Senior Python Developer – Investment Banking

Dublin, Ireland

3 days On-site a week (Hybrid)

We’re looking for a Senior Python Developer with a strong background in investment banking to join a high-performing team driving greenfield projects in a front-office environment working on a capital markets project.

What you’ll do:

• Design and deliver scalable Python solutions
• Lead and mentor a team of developers
• Collaborate with front-office teams to build business-aligned tools
• Contribute strategic insight to innovative projects
• Apply risk management and financial modelling expertise

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of Python development experience
• Experience with Beacon, Athena, Quartz, or SecDB (essential)
• Cloud/DevOps and automation testing experience (a plus)
• Knowledge of Risk, FX, or FICC (bonus)
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement
• Background in greenfield project delivery
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

The role is an initial 12-month contracting role – paying a market-competitive daily rate.
