Are you passionate about transforming how software is delivered at scale? We’re looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to join a high-impact team driving digital transformation within a major financial institution. In this senior and hands-on role, you’ll play a pivotal part in shaping DevOps practices, guiding engineering teams, and implementing high-performing, secure, and scalable delivery pipelines across the business.

This is a unique opportunity to influence the strategy and execution of software delivery in a regulated, fast-paced environment—working across DevSecOps, cloud adoption, automation, and platform engineering. You'll bridge the gap between architecture and execution, from leading technical conversations to rolling up your sleeves in code, CI/CD, cloud provisioning, and container orchestration.

What You’ll Do:

• Guide engineering teams on DevOps best practices, tools, and automation strategies
• Collaborate on platform-level initiatives and contribute to a Centre of Excellence
• Promote clean, scalable, and rapid software delivery pipelines
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels—translating complex requirements into actionable technical solutions
• Work across modern stacks: CI/CD (Jenkins, Bamboo), Infra-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible), and containerization (Kubernetes, OpenShift)

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years in DevOps or software engineering roles, with strong hands-on experience
• Experience in production deployments, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and infrastructure automation
• Strong background in scripting (Python, Bash, etc.) and development (Java, C#, or Golang)
• Kubernetes/OpenShift orchestration experience preferred.
• Solid grasp of delivering software in regulated environments
• Excellent communication skills and experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
