R&D Data Analyst

We are currently looking for an R&D Data Analyst (R&D Ana Tech Analyst.) to join our dynamic R&D Digital Engineering team in Little Island, Cork on a permanent, full-time basis.

Responsibilities

Position Purpose and Primary Accountabilities

• This R&D Digital Engineering team focuses on the development of PepsiCo’s diverse R&D Applications, Data & Insights by bringing together innovative ideas and making a direct impact on our ability to drive business action through the provision of connected applications, data & insights.
• We are looking for a Data Analyst to help the team on our Digital Transformation journey.
• The Data Analyst, R&D will be responsible for the design and delivery of innovate reporting and insights for problems of complex scope. They will be a fully contributing team member, under broad guidance with independent planning and execution responsibilities.
• Responsible for developing high value business insights and analytics solutions, by understanding business processes, data and applications, and analysing the business needs of internal customers and stakeholders.
• Quickly iterate on reporting, insights and analytics solutions to deliver immediate business value. Produce accurate, engaging, and impactful solutions.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ascertain the stakeholder's specific insights & analytics needs.
• Provide guidance to stakeholders on the development & improvement of source data processes, articulating the impact on insight data quality and completeness.
• Work with and challenge business stakeholders on their assumptions to help deliver digital solutions for their current and future needs.
• Establish best practices within the team for data insights and analytics, inform the teams technical insights strategy and team capability plans.
• Think independently to solve difficult digital & data problems.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  
  

Qualifications

Essential Criteria

• Third level qualification in Business Information Systems or related field, or 8+ years of relevant insights/analytics experience.
• Broad knowledge of Business Intelligence and cloud data management concepts, tools, architectures, and end to end data management processes.
• Deep product knowledge of enterprise insights/analytics solutions and their capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience of fast paced delivery of insights using BI tools including Power BI, Tableau.
• Demonstrated creativity in converting data into visually engaging, user-behaviour focussed, and actionable insights.
• Experience working with recognised data and insights delivery processes, and the Agile methodology.
• Experience with R or Python.
• Experience in data wrangling and data cleaning.
• Demonstrated experience of managing complex data from a number of data sources
• Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, with a drive and commitment towards project delivery
• Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments.
