UX/UI DESIGNER

About the Role

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to turn our software into easy-to-use products for our clients.

UI/UX Designer responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements, and building navigation components.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software and wireframe tools. You’ll create both functional and appealing features that address our clients’ needs and help us grow our customer base. You will need to be organized, motivated and get things done, with the willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and take ownership of what you will be working on.

Responsibilities:

• Gathering and evaluating user requirements, in collaboration with product managers and engineers
• Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
• Designing graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
• Suggesting improvements and new solutions for current and coming features
• Being always informed about new and upcoming technologies and UX trends
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how digital interfaces (mobile & Web) function and look like
• Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
• Prepare and present lo-fi drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness, excessive time to proceed)
• Setup and conduct User Validation, including focus groups, usability studies & form-based customer feedbacks
• Providing advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities to analyze and predict user behavior
• Testing UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in UX/UI design
• Educational background in UX/UI Design. (e.g. design thinking framework, double diamond, lean UX etc.)
• Design experience for digital products or services
• A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms
• Advanced knowledge of the following technologies and software: Figma, iOS, Android, Design Systems
• Good understanding of layout, color and typography and extraordinary attention to details
• Strong collaboration in working with technical team members
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Fluent in English and Italian

• Knowledge Adobe Creative Suite (photoshop, illustrator, XD)
