Your new role:

You’ll be part of a tightly integrated team of engineers specializing in Cloud, Java, Python, and PHP, working to ensure that internal platforms and systems remain secure, scalable, and up to date. Your contributions will support the ongoing effort to scale infrastructure to support a user base of 150 million, with a focus on infrastructure maintenance, deployment upgrades, and CI/CD pipeline optimization.

As a DevOps Engineer you will:

• Collaborate with globally distributed teams on cloud infrastructure and DevOps initiatives
• Upgrade Kubernetes deployments to the latest stable versions
• Maintain and update system libraries and operating systems to ensure currency and security
• Test and deploy security patches to uphold compliance and system integrity
• Recommend and implement system upgrades to enhance scalability, reliability, and resilience
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve build and deployment efficiency
• Support the Test Engineering team in automating validation processes for services and components

What you'll need to succeed:

Education Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Technical Expertise:

• 3+ years of experience with AWS services such as EC2, EKS, DynamoDB, and SQS
• Strong background in both relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra)
• Solid understanding of microservices and horizontally scalable system architectures
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for system deployment and maintenance
• Proficiency with Docker, Prometheus, and Terraform
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Argo, Jenkins, CircleCI, or BuildKite
• Familiarity with messaging and streaming technologies like Kafka and NSQ
• Knowledge of high-scale, low-latency systems
• Comfortable working across multiple scripting and programming languages
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
