Devops Engineer

Now, We’re looking for a dynamic DevOps Engineer to join our team at Dubai Silicon Oasis, where you'll lead implementing new technologies and driving improvements to working practices in DevOps cycle for web and mobile applications.

This role will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining build, package, and deployment pipelines with cutting-edge CI/CD tools. The role-holder will implement new technologies and driving improvements to working practices in DevOps cycle for web and mobile applications. S/He will be also required working with cross functional team for architecting, developing, and deploying business critical applications.

What you will do:

• Building/deploying Mobile (Android& IOS) applications
• Building release pipeline on Github Enterprise.
• Implementing and stablishing reusable pattern of Infrastructure-as-code (IaC) with Terraform, Cloud Formation, Server-less or ARM templates.
• Ensure security and stability of the applications deployed on Premise and AWS platforms.
• Automation through scripting using Python, Bash and Windows PowerShell
• Performs code promotions across dev, test, staging and production environments on correct authorization and test acceptance criteria being met.
• Work with development groups to design/create automated build and deployments using MS Build, Maven, Gradle, and PowerShell, Bash Scripting,
• Continuous monitoring of application tools like AppDynamics, Google Analytics and Log-stash.
• End to end Load testing/Synthetics experience with tools like JMeter, Selenium, etc
  
  

Bachelors or Master’s degree in relevant field or Diploma with equivalent work experience.

At least 5+ years’ experience in working in Devops implementation team.

3 + years’ experience in programming languages – Java, C#.net, Node JS, Full stack development.

3+ years of experience or background in DevOps, Build and Release Engineering.

Skills:

• Deep understanding of Builds (JAVA/.Net/NodeJs)
• Thorough understanding of best practices for software configuration management processes and policies (Branching strategies, merging, labelling, etc.)
• Troubleshooting/Problem solving skills
• Flexible and able to work well under pressure within tight deadlines
• Able to work independently and challenge the status quo, whilst fostering collaborative ways of working, at all levels in a multi-cultural environment.
• Able to communicate ideas, concepts and recommendations, including technical and complex information, clearly and concisely both orally and in writing at a level consistent with the audience.
• Able to apply a logical approach to problem solving and ability to investigate alternative options.
