Project Manager

Job Purpose

• To facilitate and drive the execution of projects as per agreed project plan.
• To coordinate and expedite the planned activities on various projects, follow-up on tasks and responses, identify and escalate any potential risks and delays in a timely manner.
• To ensure all project management processes and documents/ evidence are in place and organized, and reports are being circulated in a timely manner.

Job Accountabilities

• Project planning and execution.
• End to end project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• Develop and execute project plans, considering all relevant aspects, and implement effective project management methodology.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather project requirements and ensure alignment with the project objectives and organizational strategies.
• Facilitate communication and coordination among cross functional teams to achieve project goals.
• Identify and escalate potential risks, issues, and challenges, and propose solutions, and seek management support to avoid adverse impact to Project.
• Analyze current Project Management processes, repetitive or underlying issues, and recommend improvements for increased efficiency.
• Maintain clear and open communication with stakeholders providing regular updates on project status milestones and potential challenges.
• Manage stakeholders’ expectations and ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Providing guidance & support to others on project management methodologies, tools, or processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within other teams and offering insights recommendations for optimization.
• Backup support, acting as a backup or providing temporary support for team members during peak workload or in case of unexpected absences.
• Strict adherence to corporate policies & procedures, code of conduct, and applicable laws & regulations, to safeguard the customer interest, and Bank’s reputation.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in management, Banking, Information Technology, or general specialization, etc.

Experience

• At least 5 years’ experience in Banking projects management, execution, or delivery; Exposure to project management responsibilities & processes.

• Project & Team management skills.
• Communication & interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify potential risks & issues and propose solutions.

Preferred Certification / Training

• Experience in Banking or Projects delivery.
• Working knowledge of PM tools.

• Excellent skills in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PPT, Word).
