Key Responsibilities:
- Review and understand the current build infrastructure's responsibilities and configuration
- Assess and revise the initial migration plan for the build infrastructure
- Implement a proof of concept with one repository
- Develop a comprehensive migration plan for the remaining repositories
- Collaborate with the team to align on the migration plan
- Execute the comprehensive migration plan
- Provide thorough documentation on the build system, including usage, maintenance, configuration, and optimization
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 6+ years of professional experience in backend development or infrastructure engineering
- Proven expertise in backend development using C# and the .NET framework
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins
- Solid understanding of containerization and deployment workflows using Docker
- Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell, along with familiarity in Groovy scripting
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based build environments
- Strong grasp of code generation tools to streamline and optimize development workflows
- Experience with Windows Installer technologies, including MSI and the WiX Toolset
- A systematic, detail-oriented approach to solving complex technical challenges
