Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with Financial Institution

A leading financial services provider with core operations in Private Banking, Asset Management and Insurance is looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for their Singapore office. This is a critical leadership role for someone entrepreneurial and strategic, who thrives in a start-up style environment within a fast-growing global financial group

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of Singapore's technology strategy.
• Build and scale the local technology function from the ground up.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align technology initiatives with business priorities.
• Oversee IT infrastructure, systems implementation, vendor management, and security.
• Work closely with operations, compliance (including KYC), and marketing teams to streamline processes and introduce innovation.
• Ensure all tech solutions meet regulatory and security standards within Singapore and broader regional frameworks.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles.
• Prior experience in FinTech, financial services, or tech-driven startups preferred.
• Exposure to both technical and commercial functions (e.g., sales, marketing).
• Strong understanding of the finance and regulatory environment in Singapore and Greater China.
• Experience working at or with companies like Huawei, Tencent, TikTok, or other leading tech firms is highly valued.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proven track record of scaling tech operations in high-growth environments.
• Mandarin speaking is required
