Investment Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly driven and analytical Investment Analyst to join the HTX Ventures team. You will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities across the Web3, crypto infrastructure, and DeFi landscape. You will also play a key role in supporting our portfolio companies and shaping HTX's long-term investment strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate early-stage investment opportunities in the blockchain and digital assets ecosystem.
• Conduct thorough due diligence, including market research, competitive analysis, financial modeling, tokenomics, and team assessments.
• Prepare investment memos and presentation materials for internal investment committees.
• Track and analyze industry trends, market movements, and competitor strategies to inform investment decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, legal, finance and marketing for deal execution and post-investment support.
• Monitor and support portfolio companies through performance tracking, reporting, and follow-on financing.
• Represent HTX Ventures at industry events, conferences, and founder communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, computer science, or related field; CFA or MBA is a plus.
• 2 - 4 years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, private equity, or a crypto-native investment team.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, crypto markets, and tokenomics.
• Solid financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for the crypto industry and decentralized technologies.
• Business fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese as this role requires to work closely with Chinese counterparties
