Job Opportunity: Sanctions Operations Analyst (Arabic Nationals Only – Qatar Based)

🕒 Employment Type: Full-time (Shift-based – 8 hours/day, rotating weekends)

Salary: 6500 QAR / Month (Max)

Job responsibilities:

• We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Arabic Speakers for the position of Sanctions Operations Analyst to join our Financial Crime Compliance team in Qatar.
• The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring, reviewing, and investigating transactions using SAS-based sanctions screening solutions in compliance with global sanctions regulations including OFAC, EU, UN, and UK.
• Monitor transactions using SAS screening tools and flag potential sanctions violations.
• Review and handle Sanctions and Non-Sanctions alerts on a daily basis.
• Apply standard name screening alert disposition methodology.
• Investigate alerts and escalate confirmed (true) matches for further action.
• Stay current with international sanctions regulations and SAS system updates.
• Work collaboratively within a shift-based team environment, adhering to a rotating schedule and weekend shifts.

Key Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory (Diploma holders will not be considered).
• Arabic nationality with valid QID and transferable NOC in Qatar.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Motivated and eager to develop knowledge in AML and financial crime compliance.
• Energetic, proactive, and team-oriented.
• CAMS certification or basic knowledge of sanctions/AML regulations is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Must be willing to work rotating shifts and weekends.
