We aim to automate data storage, enrichment and personalisation for LLM in-context learning. Our company is located in the US and has a German subsidiary, for which we are currently hiring. We are looking for a Platform Engineer to build and scale the infrastructure that powers Cognee, our open source tool
- Build and maintain scalable infrastructure for Cognee deployments across cloud environments
- Develop self-service platforms and tooling for client onboarding and management
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery
- Create monitoring, observability, and alerting systems for production environments
- Build developer tools, SDKs, and APIs that enable seamless Cognee integration
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve developer experience and deployment velocity
- Engage with the open-source community and maintain comprehensive documentation
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, DevOps, or related field
- Proven experience as a Platform Engineer or DevOps Engineer with production system ownership
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi)
- Proficiency with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) and monitoring stacks
- Strong Python skills and experience with infrastructure automation
- Knowledge of database systems, message queues, and distributed system patterns
- Excellent problem-solving skills and experience building developer-facing tools
