Are you passionate about augmented reality and spatial computing? We’re seeking a skilled and creative AR Application Developer to join an exciting research-driven project focused on developing immersive, AI-enhanced AR experiences for Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses.
You will work at the intersection of XR, AI, architecture, and smart environments, contributing to a cutting-edge platform for voice-controlled AR interfaces, digital twin visualization, and contextual real-world overlays.
- Design and develop cross-platform AR applications for Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses.
- Integrate AI-powered features (e.g., voice interaction, generative overlays, real-time insights).
- Visualize BIM/GIS/Digital Twin data in AR using cloud-connected workflows.
- Optimize UI/UX for hands-free and mobile-first AR interaction.
- Collaborate with researchers, designers, and engineers to test and iterate on immersive experiences.
- AR development frameworks: Spark AR, Unity (with AR Foundation), 8thWall, Vuforia (as needed)
- Meta Ray-Ban SDK / Meta Spark Studio
- Voice interface integration: OpenAI Whisper, Google Cloud Speech, or similar
- Real-time data integration: WebRTC, WebSockets, or REST APIs
- Spatial computing & 3D interaction design
- Experience with AI/LLM integration (e.g., GPT APIs, agentic workflows)
- Cloud computing familiarity (Azure, Firebase, or AWS)
- BIM/GIS knowledge (e.g., Revit, Cesium, ArcGIS)
- UX for AR and wearable platforms
- Familiarity with TypeScript, JavaScript, or C#
- Be part of a visionary research project blending architecture, AI, and immersive tech.
- Work remotely with international experts and contributors.
- Help shape the future of AI-augmented spatial design and real-time XR interaction.
