Network Operations Center Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Junior NOC Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will:

• Provide remote troubleshooting support for UC Collaboration issues.
• Utilize complex lab setups to replicate and resolve problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address major customer issues.
• Continuously learn and share knowledge with team members.
• Develop expertise in specific technologies and products.
• Analyse and solve complex enterprise network problems to minimize downtime.
• Manage customer expectations to ensure high satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with engineers and customers.
• Coordinate field services for onsite support as needed.
• Follow communication procedures for incident updates and maintain accurate ticket notes.
• Work independently with minimal direction on routine tasks and general guidance on new assignments.

Qualifications:

• Practical knowledge of Cisco’s core collaboration technologies (CUCM, UCCX, CUC, IM & Presence, Jabber).
• Familiarity with Unified Communications hardware (Cisco UCS Servers, ISR Voice Gateways, IP Phones).
• Experience with VOIP protocols (MGCP/H.323/SIP/SCCP) and PSTN connections (FXS/FXO/T1/PRI/SIP).
• Understanding of network protocols (DHCP, NTP, CDP, LLDP) and QoS.
• Strong crisis management, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience supporting remote customer networks.
• CCNP Voice/Collaboration certification preferred; CCNA level voice knowledge desired.
• ITIL certification is a plus.
