About The Role
We’re looking for software engineers who bring fresh ideas across a wide range of disciplines including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking and data storage, security, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and frontend design.
As a Software Engineer, you’ll work on projects critical to Tapestry’s mission as we rapidly grow and evolve. We need engineers who are versatile, display leadership qualities, and are eager to take on new challenges across the full stack. With your technical expertise, you’ll design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software.

How You Will Make 10X Impact
- Research, conceive and develop software applications for a variety of projects
- Collaborate with senior engineers to understand project requirements and design specifications and participate in design reviews
- Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback
- Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
- Test, debug and troubleshoot software applications to ensure quality and performance under guidance
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript)
- Familiarity with data structures and algorithms through coursework, projects, internships, or open-source work
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Experience with one or more of the following: web or backend application development, distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, or security software development
- Experience in code and system health monitoring, diagnostics, resolution, and software test engineering
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform)
- Experience working in start-up like environments
- Personal projects, open-source contributions or participation in coding competitions
- Working knowledge or background in the grid, energy industry, or power systems (not required, but a strong plus)
