Your new role
As the DevOps Lead, you'll take on a strategic leadership position overseeing multiple applications across the digital insurance space. Rather than a hands-on technical role, this position focusses on aligning teams, streamlining processes, and driving best practices in DevOps across various engineering groups. You'll coordinate efforts between development, infrastructure, and delivery teams, ensuring smooth releases while fostering synergy across applications. Your influence will be instrumental in optimising environments, improving automation workflows and reinforcing a culture of collaboration.

What you'll need to succeed
Success in this role comes from your ability to lead and influence teams within a DevOps framework rather than focusing on technical execution. While an understanding of tools such as Duckcreek, Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, and Playwright will be valuable, your primary skill set should revolve around strategic planning, stakeholder management, and best-practice implementation. Experience across multiple applications and platforms, coupled with strong communication and problem-solving skills will be key.
