Location: Remote working - Only required to be in Cork 1 day per month

Duration: 6-month contract – Rolling

Our client is looking for an IT Systems Security Engineer with strong Linux and Windows experience to join a small, collaborative infrastructure team. The focus of this role is on vulnerability management and patch management, helping to drive security compliance across critical systems.

Key Skills:

• Strong experience with Linux and Windows system administration
• Hands-on vulnerability management (e.g. Qualys, Nessus, Rapid7)
• Proven patch management across mixed environments
• Scripting knowledge (e.g. Bash, PowerShell) a plus

You’ll be filling a current Linux skills gap and working closely with a small, security-focused team. Candidates must be team-oriented and adaptable.
