About The Role

Qatar Airways is pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Internal IT Audit team.

As the Senior IT Internal Auditor, the role will be responsible to work closely with the Manager IT Internal Audit, in the delivery of IT audit assignments and the execution of respective field-work operations. This role will also help the organization accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of IT internal controls and governance processes. This role reports to Manager IT Internal Audit.

Key Responsibilities Of The Role Are

• Work within a project team to deliver IT audit reviews and ad-hoc engagements.
• Assist in drafting the scope for the audit assignments and create audit programs as per the international standards and frameworks.
• Evaluate the status of information technology and security processes, systems and tools under scope as per the effective regulatory requirements and international best practices.
• Interact with employees of Qatar Airways Group to obtain information, seek clarifications, prepare supporting documents and share audit findings.
• Document audit findings, risks and recommendations and prepare audit report.
• Continuously work on developing and improving internal IT audit methodologies and enhance audit effectiveness.
• Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of Department.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join our Internal Audit Team who can recognize themselves in the points below.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems of relevant discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in airline, international corporations or consulting industries.
• Proficiency in Information Technology / Information Security auditing as per, but not limited to ITAF, CobIT, ISO27K, ITIL, and NIST frameworks and standards.
• Certification in CISA, CISM, CobIT, ISO27K, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of IT General Controls (ITGC).
• Data analytics experience is a plus.
• Strong problem solving and methodical capabilities.
• Good interpersonal skills with effective verbal and written English communication skills
• Strong business acumen.
• Self-starter capable of taking initiatives and working with minimal direction.
• Curious mindset and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work under pressure and towards challenging deadlines.
