This is more than just another UI/UX role—you’ll be deeply embedded in problem-solving, working across multiple teams to design tools and workflows that enhance the end-to-end banker experience. Your work will directly impact how NAB’s business bankers operate, giving them the best tools to serve Australian businesses efficiently and effectively.
In this role, of Senior Product Designer, you will have the opportunity to shape your future—whether you want to deepen your craft, move into leadership, or explore new areas of design, we’ll support your journey.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Lead the design of new tools and workflows that enhance the end-to-end experience for NAB’s business bankers.
- Work closely with product owners, business analysts, and subject matter experts to define problems and align solutions.
- Engage with NAB bankers and customers to validate your designs, ensuring they are user-friendly and impactful.
- Contribute to NAB’s design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across digital experiences.
- Communicate design decisions effectively, using visuals and storytelling to influence stakeholders and drive alignment.
- Be part of a collaborative design team, sharing ideas, feedback, and growing alongside talented designers.
- Demonstrated experience working as a Senior Product Designer, ideally working in complex industries such as banking, finance, fintech, insurance, or trading.
- Strong UX/UI skills, with a keen eye for visual design, typography, and layout. You bring good taste and know how to create polished, high-quality work.
- Experience designing for complex systems, where multiple user types and workflows need to be considered.
- A natural ability to communicate, aligning stakeholders across business and technology teams to drive great design outcomes.
- Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with design systems, ensuring scalable and maintainable designs.
- Curiosity and problem-solving skills—you don’t just execute, you think critically about how to improve experiences and challenge assumptions.
