AI/ML Engineer

Neurabits is looking for a curious, driven, and skilled AI/ML Engineer to help us build impactful, real-world AI solutions. This is an onsite role in Canberra with a flexible casual contract arrangement. 

Your Role 

As an AI/ML Engineer at Neurabits, you’ll: 

• Develop, train, and optimize machine learning models 
• Work with real-world data: preprocessing, feature engineering, evaluation 
• Collaborate with a team of researchers and engineers 
• Contribute to AI research and experimentation 
• Deploy ML models into real-world applications (bonus if familiar with MLOps) 

What We’re Looking For 

• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) 
• Hands-on experience with data pipelines and model development 
• Strong understanding of machine learning principles and architectures 
• Ability to work onsite in Canberra and hold valid Australian work rights 
• Bonus: Experience in NLP, computer vision, cloud (AWS), MLOps tools.
