Job Summary

The Solution Architect – Bespoke Solutions is responsible for designing and delivering high-impact digital solutions tailored to client needs. These solutions integrate custom software development, platform orchestration, and emerging AI technologies. The role demands strong technical leadership and strategic client engagement to transform complex business challenges into scalable, intelligent, and secure digital architectures.

This role serves as a cross-functional enabler among product, engineering, AI/data teams, and customers—driving innovation through low-code/no-code platforms, intelligent workflows, and AI/ML-enabled use cases across diverse industries such as Government, Healthcare, Utilities, Oil & Gas, and Smart Cities.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end digital solutions, combining custom application development, middleware integration, AI insights, and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Design modular, API-first application architectures using microservices, containers, and event-driven patterns.
• Translate business requirements into technology blueprints for apps, portals, command centers, automation tools, and AI assistants.
• Build data-centric platforms with ingestion, ETL pipelines, knowledge graphs, AI/ML layers, and robust data governance.
• Lead discovery and design of AI/ML applications including document processing, computer vision, NLP bots, and anomaly detection.
• Integrate custom solutions with enterprise systems such as CRM, ERP, GIS, IoT platforms, and national digital services.
• Define architecture and security patterns for hybrid/multi-cloud deployments using Kubernetes, Docker, and services from Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Champion low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform, Mendix, OutSystems) to accelerate solution delivery.
• Architect integration of AI engines, MLOps pipelines, agentic AI frameworks, and foundational models into applications.
• Work closely with AI/data science teams to align models with business context and performance KPIs.
• Identify opportunities for generative AI, predictive analytics, and cognitive services to augment enterprise workflows.
• Collaborate directly with customers to define needs, gather requirements, and co-design digital transformation journeys.
• Facilitate solution workshops, design sprints, and PoCs to validate architecture and user experience.
• Develop technical documentation including HLAs, LLDs, functional specs, and integration diagrams.
• Support presales and bid teams with solutioning, effort estimation, and value proposition articulation.
• Provide architectural oversight during implementation, ensuring technical alignment, performance, and security compliance.
• Guide development teams on best practices in coding, DevSecOps, CI/CD, testing, and agile methodologies.
• Collaborate across agile squads with product owners, designers, QA, and DevOps to ensure successful delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise:

• Strong experience in custom application architecture (web/mobile/enterprise), distributed systems, and cloud-native development.
• Proficient in integration technologies (API gateways, ESB, Kafka, GraphQL), databases (SQL, NoSQL, TimeSeries), and IAM frameworks (OAuth2, SSO, IAM).
• Understanding of AI/ML workflows, including model training, inference, orchestration (Kubeflow, MLflow), and APIs for LLMs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face).
• Solid hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and DevSecOps tools (CI/CD, GitOps, IaC using Terraform/ARM).

Professional Experience:

• 10–14 years of experience in ICT/digital/software architecture roles, with a minimum of 5 years in custom or bespoke digital solutions.
• Track record in delivering citizen apps, operational dashboards, digital twins, AI assistants, or orchestrated platforms.
• Experience with regulated industries such as government, utilities, or smart cities is highly desirable.

Soft Skills:

• Strategic mindset with strong business-technology alignment.
• Excellent communication and storytelling capabilities across technical and executive audiences.
• Proven leadership in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred Certifications:

• TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification.
• Azure or AWS Solution Architect certifications.
• AI/ML-related certifications (e.g., TensorFlow, Azure AI Engineer, NVIDIA DLI).
