NDFC Engineer

Title: Cisco Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller (NDFC) Engineer

Location: Doha - Qatar

Duration: 6 months renewable

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the deployment of Cisco Nexus Dashboard, Nexus Insights, and Nexus Orchestrator in a multi-site environment.
• Design and implement Layer 2/3 network architecture using Cisco Nexus 9K switches.
• Oversee the rollout of VXLAN EVPN fabrics and Legacy integrations.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and security teams to align network deployment with business goals.
• Conduct pre-deployment assessments, risk analysis, and capacity planning.
• Develop and execute detailed migration plans with rollback strategies.
• Provide L3 support during and after deployment, including root cause analysis and performance tuning.
• Document all configurations, topologies, and operational procedures.

Required Skills:

• Deep expertise in Cisco Nexus platforms (NX-OS, ACI, VXLAN, VPC).
• Hands-on experience with Nexus Dashboard Suite (Insights, Orchestrator, Fabric Controller).
• Strong understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), multicast, and QoS.
• Proven experience in large-scale network deployments and migrations.
• Familiarity with network automation and scripting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cisco certifications: CCNP/CCIE Data Center.
• ITIL or PMP certification is a plus.
