ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


The Account Manager of PR and Communications will be instrumental in guiding our clients through the evolving landscape of public relations and communications. This role combines strategic leadership, client relationship management, and communications expertise to support our clients’ goals. The Account Director of PR and Communications will help in implementing successful campaigns, managing high-profile accounts, and providing top-notch consultancy and content support.


Responsibilities:


1- General PR and Comm

• Act as the primary liaison for key client accounts, fostering robust, trust-based relationships. • Develop and execute detailed PR and communications strategies that align with client goals, while also measuring their effectiveness.

• Lead strategic communications planning, including media relations, to help clients amplify their PR initiatives.

• Offer editorial assistance and ensuring the quality of written materials, from press releases to thought leadership articles, while handling media relations to enhance outreach.

• Prepare media monitoring reports and compiling media coverage clippings to provide clients with insightful feedback on public perception and media presence.

• Support the PR and Communications team by promoting an environment of creativity, strategic insight, and professional development.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to integrate PR campaigns across various channels and platforms.

• Navigate and manage crisis communications for clients, advising on best practices and leading the response to protect and enhance their reputation.

• Keep abreast of industry trends, media opportunities, and best practices to continuously improve the agency’s offerings and client strategies.


2- Account/Project Management

• Introduce and give presentations about Kenshō to existing and potential Clients.

•Meet clients in person to provide advice, identify business opportunities and offer new services and solutions.

• Develop and maintain a close and productive relationship with key client contacts.

• Work side by side with clients from the start, proposing transformational solutions, and delivering moment stopping activations.

• Track and monitor overall account performance to meet revenue targets – monthly overview of client activities, revenue forecast, and future plan, prepare and deliver client presentations, case studies and proposals.

•Draw up monthly account management reports to key clients.

•Attend to and investigate clients’ complaints and find solutions.

• Develop and maintain positive and long-lasting relationships with clients.


3- Bilingual Content Support

• Drafting and Refining Content: Take the lead in drafting, editing, and refining journalistic and marketing content, including but not limited to press releases, articles, long-form copies, and editorials. Your role involves transforming ideas into compelling narratives that engage and inform.

• Content Approval Process: Manage the content approval workflow, ensuring all content meets quality standards and aligns with brand messaging before publication. This includes close collaboration with clients or internal teams for content review and obtaining necessary approvals.

• Revisions and Updates: Respond to feedback by making precise revisions and updates to content, maintaining flexibility to adapt content strategies as required by client needs or campaign performance.

• Translation and Transcreation: Apply your linguistic expertise to translate, transcreate, proofread, and edit content across a variety of formats, ensuring messages are culturally relevant and resonate with target audiences.

• Internal and External Communications: Craft and refine both internal communications and client-facing messages, ensuring clarity, consistency, and engagement.

• Social Media Excellence: Create and adapt content for major social media and digital platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter, keeping up with platform trends and audience preferences.


EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in an agency.

• Work in a high paced environment where multi-tasking won’t be an issue.

• Should possess a multi-national and intercultural mindset along with a team player attitude.

• Exemplary client servicing skills with the ability to maintain and extend client relationships.

• Excellent time management, numeracy skills, and attention to detail.

• Fluent, clear, and articulate in verbal English and Arabic communication with the ability to convey interest and enthusiasm when presenting.

• Assertive and able to take charge of a situation when appropriate with the ability to lead, motivate, and influence others.

• Proven leadership experience managing teams and coaching and mentoring individuals.

• Have a flair for people, be able to anticipate the impact of an increased workload, working to deadlines.

• A positive can-do attitude, including being able and willing to work extended hours during peak periods.

• Strong organizational skills, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience with managing a team.

• Conflict resolution and diplomatic strategies.

• Working knowledge of project management tool (such as Click Up).

• Team-oriented managing a high volume of deliverables.
