About the role
We’re looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our fast-moving MIMO Technology Team. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer and Chief Technology Officer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that the systems powering our customer journeys are fast, secure and scalable.

You’ll design and maintain automated test frameworks, lead manual and automated test execution and collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other departments. Your work will directly impact the quality and reliability of our lending platform as we scale to help more Australians.

What we are looking for:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated software testing, a passion for quality-first development and an excellent eye for detail.
We’re looking for someone who can confidently design robust testing frameworks, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. A problem-solver at heart, you’ll bring technical expertise, an ownership mindset and a drive to deliver reliable user-focused software.

Your Background & Strengths:

• 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester in a software development environment
  
• Experience in both manual and automated testing, especially for consumer-facing web platforms
  
• Strong skills in test automation tools like PHPUnit, Cypress, or Laravel Dusk
  
• Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman or integrated test suites
  
• Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and issue tracking (Jira, GitLab)
  
• Experience working in agile development environments
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
  
• A team player with a customer-centric, ownership-focused mindset.
