The Iteration Manager, is a key role driving multi-disciplinary agile squads to deliver high-quality products and solutions for our Qantas Frequent Flyer.

The Iteration Manager, will own the end-to-end delivery at the squad level, whilst working closely with the Delivery Manager to ensure initiatives are prioritised appropriately and align with Tribe-level Delivery planning.

The Iteration Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring successful releases by focusing on the specific sprint or sprints within a broader release cycle.

The role will also be responsible for ensuring the team adheres to the Qantas Loyalty Agile ways of working - values, principles, and practices, while also removing impediments and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

You’ll Have

  • Proven experience in agile software development environments, including a minimum of 4-5 years as a Scrum Master / Iteration Manager.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
  • Strong problem solving skills to remove impediments and maintain team momentum.
  • Proficient in agile delivery tools (Atlassian products, Jira, Confluence, Miro etc).
  • Proven ability to facilitate agile ceremonies
  • Release management experience
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across both business and technical functions.
  • Experience in release management.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), organised, strong facilitation, and coaching skills.
  • Strong understanding of agile principles, values, and practices, with the ability to articulate Agile principles to all levels of business and technology stakeholders.
  • Constant focus on continuous improvement within an agile delivery team.
