About The Role

SEB is embarking on an exciting tech transformation and seeks a skilled Infrastructure DevOps Engineer to join our Log Team. In this role, you'll manage, optimize, and evolve our log management infrastructure across both on-premise and cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure, AWS). You'll bring DevOps practices and automation to ensure system stability, performance, and scalability.

Your work will also involve implementing OpenTelemetry standards and Observability best practices for unified logging, metrics, and tracing across SEB. Your expertise in scripting, troubleshooting, and deploying modern logging and event stream solutions will be key to transforming how we manage logs. Working with a talented team, you'll help ensure seamless log management, troubleshooting, and integration.

As a DevOps Engineer, You Will

• Implement, manage and maintain log management solutions both on-prem and in cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure, AWS)
• Develop automation scripts and playbooks using tools like Ansible and scripting languages such as Python
• Leverage Splunk and Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL) for log analysis and reporting
• Continuously improve log management processes and identify opportunities for innovation
• Troubleshoot log-related issues and develop effective solutions
• Ensure compliance with ITIL best practices and security standards
  
  

To Thrive In This Role, We Believe You Have

• Strong troubleshooting skills with expertise in scripting (e.g., Python) and automation tools like Ansible
• Experience in managing infrastructure on bare metal, virtual machines, and cloud platforms
• Experience with Cloud technologies and tools are highly valuable
• Knowledge of Splunk for log management, analysis, and visualization
• A problem solver knowledge with analytical mindset and personal drive for continuous innovation and improvements
• Familiarity with DevOps practices
• Familiarity with Observability concepts, including metrics, traces, and logs
• A proactive personality with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
• Proficient English skills as your working language
• Very good communication skills
