Senior Project Manager – Global Transformation

Strategic Staffing Solutions International client a leading global healthcare company ranked #10 on the Fortune 500. Currently looking for Program Manager.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional transition efforts within Global Business Services (GBS).

The Senior Program Manager - Global Payroll Transformation will lead a 3-year initiative to standardize payroll processes, vendors, and governance across ~45 countries in WEMEA, APAC, and LATAM. This role supports global alignment, efficiency, and compliance, and requires strong project management skills with a basic understanding of HR, Payroll, or Timekeeping systems.

The role is a 12-month contract with the potential for permanent extension (the project is expected to last at least 3 years).

Primary duties and responsibilities:

• Lead global business services (GBS) transition programs across multiple functions and geographies.
• Manage end-to-end program lifecycle: planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Drive scope, schedule, and budget management with full accountability.
• Track and control program/project budget, resource allocation, and financials.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies with mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams; ensure milestone alignment and integration.
• Present program status and decisions to senior executives with clarity and confidence.
• Maintain program documentation, governance, and reporting using standard tools (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio).
• Influence key stakeholders, building consensus and ensuring accountability.
• Develop and implement project management standards, processes, and tools.
• Promote innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement in project delivery.
• Ensure high quality of deliverables and adherence to organizational standards.
• Support change management across the department and drive cultural alignment.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of project/program management experience.
• Minimum 1 year in a leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Ideal to have prior experience within HR, Payroll, Timekeeping etc. At minimal, basic understanding of these areas.
• Proven experience with GBS transitions and managing large-scale transformation programs.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Project, Excel (pivot tables, functions), PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Outlook.
• Strong executive presence with excellent written and verbal communication in English.

The offered salary is up to 5000 eur/gross or 34 eur/hour.
