About the Role


As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for day-to-day operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of our network infrastructure. You will work closely with our engineers, assisting with the implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of global network systems. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundational knowledge of networking, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities:

  • Support network engineers in maintaining and troubleshooting network systems (LAN, WAN, firewalls, switches, and routers)
  • Monitor network performance and availability using tools established by the team (i.e., Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Perform routine network maintenance tasks, updates, and patches
  • Maintain documentation of network configurations and procedures
  • Assist in deploying new network equipment and technologies
  • Act as the first line of support to respond and resolve network related incidents and service requests
  • Enforce network security policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers as needed
  • Maintain our internal network inventory (hardware, support, licenses)


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a network support or administration role
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.)
  • Experience with Cisco, Arista, or similar network hardware
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools
  • Understanding of firewalls, VPNs, and network security best practices
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment
