Back End Developer

📍 Location: Remote/Hybrid. Most of our product & engineering team is in the EU, so some overlap with CET/CEST time zones is required. If you're in Madrid or Barcelona, you can work from our office if you wish (e.g. some engineers come in once per week), but it's not compulsory.

As a Back End Engineer, you’ll join an international team working across our tech stack. You’ll be mentored by our VP of Engineering and exposed to application logic, dashboards, and integrations.

You’ll be passionate about solving tough problems with performant code and prioritizing quality over deadlines.

• Design scalable and efficient backend systems
• Take ownership of specific modules and optimize for performance
• Write clean, well-documented, high-quality code
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (PMs, designers, engineers)
• Apply test-driven development practices
• Explore and integrate emerging technologies
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team process improvements

• Education: Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Language: Proficient in English (written and verbal)
• Mindset: Results-oriented, impact-driven
• Tech Skills: Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript or strong in another high-level language (Python, Ruby)
• Cloud Experience: Familiarity with cloud-native tools and infrastructure (preferably AWS + Terraform)
