What we’re looking for

We’re looking for an Android Developer to join our team and help build innovative solutions using Kotlin and the latest frameworks. In this role, you’ll contribute to the development of the My Orange corporate self-care app, a platform that enhances personalized account management for customers across multiple countries. You’ll work in a dynamic Agile environment, using technologies like Kotlin, XML, Fastlane, and GitLab. What you’ll be doing

• Assess, design, develop, integrate, test, and document software features with a strong focus on Android platforms with complex business features;
• Create and maintain packages/frameworks to integrate features in My Orange country solutions;
• Code developing in Kotlin;
• Troubleshoot software issues and fixbugs;
• Participate actively and proactively in all project overviews and team meetings;
• Ownership of technical designs, code development and component test execution to demonstrate alignment to the functional specification;
• Using configuration management and integration/build automation tools to lead and deploy builds;
• Performing code reviews and providing critical suggestions for fixes and improvements;
• Unit testing applications;
• Developing and demonstrating a broad set of technology skills in Kotlin, Combine and open-source libraries and frameworks, and technology architecture concepts;
• Collaborating within a project team with diverse and complementary skills.
• Experience with publishing native applications in Google and Huawei stores.

What you need to know/have

• 3+ years of experience as a software engineer building shipping Android applications using Kotlin, RX, Retrofit, Compose,di(hilt);
• Excellent understanding of object-oriented and MVVM design pattern;
• JSON and REST APIs knowledge;
• Experience with Unit and UI testing;
• Experience with continuous integration (Fastlane) and code versioning (GitLab);
• Experience with data obfuscation and application security;
• Very good understanding about threads and application lifecycle;
• Able to create reusable code and write technical documentation;
• Strong experience with project configuration and frameworks management;
• Focused on design details, knowledge to interact with design tools (Zeplin);
• Experience with publishing native applications in Appstore;
• Excellent communication skills in English.
