Experience and expertise (between 7 and 10 years)
- More than 7 years as NOC Technician with knowledge in Transport networks: SDH, DWDM and advanced optical networks (photonic mesh).
- Experience in equipment and technologies from manufacturers such as Huawei and Nokia.
- Extensive experience in Tier 1 technical support (NOC), with deep knowledge in transport network management for large operators.
- Solid knowledge of support and operation processes defined by Telefónica in the field of Transport.
- Proficiency in technologies such as OTN, GMPLS, optical protection (1+1, MSP, SNCP), and customer circuits (E1, STM, GE, 10º/400GE, etc.).
- Ability for fault analysis, diagnosis, troubleshooting and solution proposals for complex incidents.
Functions
- Level 1 incident management in transport networks, diagnosis and troubleshooting.
- Activation and monitoring of circuits and services in SDH and DWDM technologies.
- Management of customer complaints and support to field teams.
- Network quality analysis, error reporting and proposal of corrective actions.
- Shift coordination and continuous technical support in 24/7 environments.
Tools
- Activity reception and incident management systems: GRI, GEISER, MAR/Genesys.
- Network management systems (NMS): Huawei and Nokia.
- Escalation of cases to Vendors: GRI, Telefónica internal mail, etc.
- MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI, etc. For KPI analysis and reporting.
