THE ROLE

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our technology team and drive the automation, scalability, and reliability of our software development and deployment processes. This role requires expertise in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices to support our growing development teams and production environments.

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Infrastructure & Cloud Management

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization and costs.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies for critical systems.

CI/CD Pipeline Development

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and MATLAB-based automation.
• Integrate automated test cases for MIL/SIL/HIL into continuous testing workflows.
• Monitor test execution, analyse results, and ensure regression coverage.
• Collaborate with development teams to close toolchain gaps and improve process efficiency.
• Support governance by tracking progress, reporting metrics, and driving continuous improvement.
• Verification testing in MIL, SIL and HIL environments, and in-vehicle integration.

Monitoring & Operations

• Implement comprehensive monitoring and alerting solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
• Establish logging strategies and centralized log management systems.
• Develop and maintain system performance metrics and SLA monitoring.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response procedures.
• Conduct post-incident reviews and implement preventive measures.

Security & Compliance

• Implement security best practices throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.
• Manage secrets, certificates, and access controls using tools like HashiCorp Vault or AWS Secrets Manager.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Implement security scanning and vulnerability assessment processes.
• Maintain secure network configurations and access policies.

EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEGDE:

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar roles.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms and modern DevOps practices.

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and automated testing frameworks.
• Proficient in integrating MATLAB/Simulink workflows into DevOps pipelines.
• Familiarity with version control (Git), issue tracking (JIRA), and requirement tools (Polarion).
• Strong understanding of test automation, coverage analysis, and traceability.
• Knowledge of embedded systems, AUTOSAR, and model-based development is a plus.

System Administration

• Strong Linux/Unix system administration skills.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
• Experience with database administration and management.
• Understanding of security principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
