About The Role

As Head of DevOps your core focus areas will be on scaling and future-proofing our DevOps org and infrastructure. You will guide the team in tackling scalability and reliability issues, and develop the DevOps roadmap together with senior Engineering leadership.

Technical Skills (Must-haves)

• Experience: 10+ years in IT/Engineering roles with 5+ years specifically in DevOps leadership or management.
• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding AWS, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Istio), and infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• CI/CD Expertise: Extensive experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
• Automation Focused: Expertise in automation and infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Security Conscious: Strong understanding of security best practices in DevOps, with experience in compliance and governance standards
  
  

Soft Skills

• Leadership Skills: Proven experience in managing and mentoring engineering teams, with strong project and stakeholder management skills.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
