Junior Web Developer

Job Description

The Junior Web Developer role is a dynamic entry-level position within our development team, where you will have the opportunity to utilize your web development skills to build and maintain cutting-edge websites. With guidance from senior developers, you will engage in the development of applications, websites, and interactive user interfaces that are both functional and visually appealing. You will be involved in all stages of web application development, including coding, testing, and deployment. As a Junior Web Developer, you will implement tasks associated with front-end design and back-end development, gain practical experience, and problem-solve using your analytical skills. You will help optimize our web applications' performance and engage in collaborative planning sessions with designers, project managers, and clients to ensure the project objectives are met. You will have the chance to work with various tools and technologies, expand your web development knowledge, and make a meaningful contribution to the team's success.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with senior developers to build responsive web applications.
• Assist with website debugging, problem resolution, and code reviews.
• Develop and implement new software and web applications features as required.
• Participate in client meetings to understand and analyze project requirements.
• Conduct testing and quality assurance for web projects to ensure they meet standards.
• Learn and utilize content management systems for regular website updates.
• Work on improving website load times and performance optimization tasks.
• Generate reports on website traffic, performance, and user engagement metrics.
• Coordinate with graphic designers to execute and deliver web page designs.
• Ensure that all code is clean, well-documented, and efficient.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in web development.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and collaborative coding environments.
• Understanding of front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js is beneficial.
• Ability to work both independently and with a diverse team effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning new technologies.
