We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer with experience in Core teams who loves creating stable and convenient services for product developers. We are seeking a well-rounded technical specialist always thinking one step ahead and able to anticipate project problems and needs in any part of the application.
Together, we want to bring the quality and speed of the feature development to a new level.

Key Responsibilities

• Implementing our design system on Jetpack Compose
• Improving CI infrastructure;
• Designing and refining solutions for the whole application including analytics, push notifications, navigation, etc.

Our tech stack and architecture: Kotlin, Coroutines Flow, MVVM + MVI, Dagger 2/Yatagan, multi-module, Retrofit

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency;
• Excellent knowledge of Kotlin and Coroutines;
• Understanding of MVVM/MVI architecture;
• Experience with Jetpack Compose;
• Experience with Coroutines Flow;
• Experience with Dagger/Yatagan (or another DI framework);
• Understanding of design patterns and SOLID approaches;
• Ability to work with collections, understanding their differences;
• Basic understanding of GC operation;
• Experience as a Tech Lead in a large team of at least 4 Android Developers;
• Strong communication skills in order to defend your position in necessary, highlight problems and pitch your own ideas;
• “Getting things done” mindset.

Relocation

We offer remote work from anywhere in the world and are happy to work out an individual relocation plan for you.

Our employees have the opportunity to choose a country for registration: at the moment those are Armenia/Georgia/Serbia/Portugal/Spain.

We will help you open a legal entity and a bank account. In Armenia and Georgia the taxes are compensated by Tabby. In other countries we provide partial compensation of taxes.

We employ according to B2B contracts (service agreements).

For our employees we cover the following:

• Flight to one of the mentioned countries.
• Accommodation during the paperwork completion period.
• Opening a bank account and getting a residence permit in one of the mentioned countries.
• Family relocation (dependants).

New employees can also choose an alternative method of relocation to another country of their choice. In this case, Tabby will reimburse up to $5,000 of verified costs upon opening a legal entity and a bank account.
