Responsibilities:

Media Relations:

• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers in fintech and crypto sectors.
• Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and op-eds.
• Coordinate interviews, press briefings, and event appearances for executives.

Content Creation:

• Develop PR content such as media advisories, blog posts, newsletters, and talking points.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistency in tone and messaging across all platforms.

Campaign Support:

• Assist in executing PR campaigns that promote key partnerships, launches, or initiatives (e.g., Jetcraft partnership).
• Monitor press coverage and provide media analysis reports.

Event Coordination:

• Support participation in industry events, including virtual and live conferences, panels, and media tours.

Internal Communication:

• Help craft internal announcements and support cross-department communication strategies.

Crisis Communication:

• Support a CMO in managing sensitive issues or crises.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• 2–4 years in PR, ideally within fintech, blockchain, or tech environments an asset, but not required.
• Proven media relations skills and understanding of financial, crypto, or B2B PR.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable using PR tools (e.g., PRWire, Cision, or Muck Rack).
• Knowledge of current crypto trends and regulatory topics is a plus.
