Data Analyst

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Analyst to join our team. In this mid-senior level role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to transform data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has a strong background in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization, with the ability to work independently and mentor junior analysts when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from multiple sources
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
• Develop dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
• Use SQL and Python/R to manipulate and analyze data
• Create predictive models and statistical analyses to support business goals
• Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
• Collaborate with engineering, product, marketing, and business teams
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track business performance
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting
• Support data governance and documentation efforts

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
• 3–6 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role
• Strong command of SQL, Excel, and one scripting language (Python or R)
• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
• Solid understanding of statistical methods and hypothesis testing
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Familiarity with data warehouses (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake)
• Exposure to machine learning models and tools
• Knowledge of business domain (e.g., e-commerce, finance, healthcare) is a plus
