As an Android Application Developer, you will design, develop, modify, debug, and maintain Android applications. You will focus on specific modules within a larger software system, ensuring high performance and responsiveness while demonstrating technical expertise and ownership of the project.

What will your job look like?

• Design & Development: Create, modify, debug, and maintain software code according to functional, non-functional, and technical design specifications.
• Standards & Processes: Follow industry standards for Android development, ensuring code is maintainable, scalable, and supportable. Present software products to stakeholders.
• Issue Resolution: Investigate issues by reviewing and debugging code, provide fixes and workarounds, and review changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions.
• Collaboration: Work within a team, participate in peer code reviews, provide comments and suggestions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
• Technical Accountability: Take technical responsibility for your specific work products within an application and provide technical support during solution design for new requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Actively seek innovation and continuous improvement, aiming for efficiency in all assigned tasks.
  
  

All you need is...

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Science/IT/Computing or equivalent.
• Programming Languages: Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Development Tools: Proficient in Android Studio, Android SDK, and other essential tools.
• API Integration: Experience with REST/JSON API calls.
• Libraries: Familiarity with open-source libraries and first-party Android libraries.
• Version Control: Experience with version-control systems such as Git.
• Architectures: Proficiency in Model-View-Presenter (MVP) architecture, with an understanding of other architectures like MVVM and Clean Architecture.
• Asynchronous Programming: Proficiency in using Kotlin Coroutines for managing background tasks and asynchronous programming.
• Data Serialization: Experience with Protocol Buffers (Protobuf) for efficient data serialization.
• UI Development: Experience with Jetpack Compose for building modern, declarative UIs is a bonus and encouraged.
• Telecommunication Solutions: Knowledge of telecommunication solutions and eSIM technology, including the use of relevant Android APIs.
