Lead Front-End Developer

We're working with a top growing SaaS company in Antwerp, seeking a talented Lead Frontend Developer to join their growing team. They collaborate with large-scale clients across various booming tech industries, including fintech, healthtech, and e-commerce.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating exceptional user experiences and possess a strong background in modern frontend technologies such as React and Next.js (Angular is a nice to have) and have the willingness to mentor more junior developers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the frontend development team in designing and implementing responsive and user-friendly web applications.
• Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Utilize expertise in Angular or React to develop scalable applications, while also being open to learning and implementing new technologies such as Next.js.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the team is at the forefront of technology.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Frontend Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing projects using Angular or React.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing or mentoring a team.
• Keen interest in learning and adopting new technologies, particularly Next.js and other modern frameworks.
• Strong understanding of web performance optimization and accessibility standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor's or higher in an IT-related field
