Blockchain/Solidity Developer

Our client is an innovative R&D company pioneering blockchain solutions for some of Australia’s largest financial institutions. They are seeking a skilled Blockchain/Solidity Developer to join their dynamic team for a 6-month contract to deliver cutting-edge blockchain projects.

**Role Overview:**

As a Blockchain/Solidity Developer, you will design, develop, and deploy secure smart contracts and blockchain-based solutions for enterprise-grade financial applications. You will collaborate with a talented team to integrate blockchain technologies with existing systems, ensuring robust performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, test, and deploy smart contracts using Solidity for Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-based blockchains.

- Implement secure blockchain key management and transaction signing processes.

- Work with EVMs and JSON-RPC APIs to integrate blockchain solutions with financial systems.

- Write and maintain TypeScript and Bash scripts for testing, integration, and deployment pipelines.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of blockchain solutions.

- Ensure code quality, security, and compliance with industry best practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Proven experience as a Blockchain Developer with expertise in Solidity and smart contract development.

- Strong understanding of blockchain key management and transaction signing mechanisms.

- Hands-on experience with EVMs and JSON-RPC API interactions.

- Proficiency in TypeScript and Bash for testing, integration, and deployment tasks.

- Familiarity with Ethereum-based blockchain frameworks and tools (e.g., Hardhat, Truffle, or Foundry).

- Knowledge of secure coding practices and experience working with financial systems is a plus.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills:

- Experience with financial institution projects or enterprise blockchain solutions.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for blockchain deployments.

- Understanding of Australian financial regulations and compliance standards.
