Java Developer

📍 Location: Laakdal (3 days/week on-site)

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer who’s equally confident in backend development and comfortable contributing to frontend work using React when needed. This hybrid role requires on-site presence in Laakdal (3 days per week) and is ideal for someone located near Antwerp with access to a car or reliable public transport.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java backend services.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to support and enhance applications built in React.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and Product Owners.
• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
• Integrate and manage cloud infrastructure components using AWS.
• Follow and promote CI/CD best practices for continuous integration and deployment.

• Backend: Java (Senior-level expertise)
• Frontend: React (support-level involvement)
• Cloud: AWS (Lambda and other services)
• DevOps: CI/CD, Docker, Git

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Java development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and other AWS services.
• Proficient in frontend development using React.
• Strong understanding of microservices and API-based architecture.
• Ability to work on-site in Laakdal 3 days per week.
• Good communication skills and team collaboration mindset.
