We're looking for a motivated Junior Cyber Strategy Consultant to strengthen our client's cybersecurity team. In this role, you’ll be actively involved in protecting systems, networks, and data by identifying vulnerabilities and implementing risk-reducing strategies. You'll collaborate with experienced cybersecurity professionals and follow a structured learning path that will elevate your skills to the next level. Throughout your journey, you'll receive on-the-job coaching to support your growth into a fully independent consultant.

As a Junior Cyber Strategy Consultant, you'll contribute to strengthening the security posture of our client’s IT environment. Your key responsibilities include:
- Assessing and analysing cybersecurity risks;
- Supporting the implementation and improvement of security measures and frameworks;
- Investigating and remediating vulnerabilities;
- Assisting in security audits and penetration testing initiatives;
- Reporting findings and providing actionable recommendations;
- Staying up to date with industry trends and developments.
You bring a combination of strong technical insight and a hunger to grow in the field of cybersecurity. The ideal candidate has:
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar cybersecurity role;
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field;
- Solid understanding of the OSI model, networking protocols, and core security principles;
- Familiarity with standards such as ISO27001, NIST, and CIS is a strong advantage;
- Certifications like CEH, GCIH, or OSCP are considered a plus;
- Ethical hacking capabilities are an asset;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- A growth mindset and eagerness to continuously develop your knowledge in a dynamic sector.
- Languages Dutch and English (both required).
- 1-2 days teleworking possible
