We’re looking for a quality-minded backend Software Engineer to participate in our software delivery platform development and operations

Key Responsibilities

You will join a team of 10 engineers managing the backends for software release and distribution for millions of customers. You'll be developing and operating backends running in AWS, with focus on the quality aspects. We use Python as our main programming language, and you can expect to work with the following technologies: Serverless, PostgreSQL, Jenkins and BDD. You'll have an opportunity to participate in designing the next generation release and distribution platform, and to collaborate with other quality oriented people.

We aren't looking for a quality engineer, but rather a developer with an interest in QA.

What are we looking for?

• Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment, with good communication skills.
• Passion for continuous improvement and willingness to share knowledge and insights of the best practices.
• Experience in backend development, preferably with Python.
• Experience with CI/CD systems.
• Basic knowledge of cloud computing.
• Interest in software quality and end-to-end testing of cloud services.
  
  

Bonus points

• Experience with BDD and implementing tests with Gherkin, or similar syntax.
• Experience with modern CI/CD tools: Github Actions, Gitlab CI.
• Experience in designing and implementing security-first systems.
• Experience in infrastructure as code.
