Back-End Developer (Python)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Middle-Level Backend Developer with strong Python expertise. This role will focus on extending our existing payment gateway platform, supporting different payment methods and scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Integrations with 3rd party systems: Develop and implement integrations with various external payment providers, supporting different payment types, scenarios.
2. Scalable API Development: Create and optimize RESTful APIs to handle payment flows and ensure seamless communication between services.
3. Testing and Validation: Write unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability and robustness. Perform debugging and troubleshooting to resolve issues in production and development environments.
4. Code Quality and Collaboration: Deliver clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that is reviewed and accepted by the team.
5. Documentation: Provide complete documentation for APIs, workflows, and integration guides.
6. Task Estimation and Delivery: Evaluate tasks, estimate timeframes accurately, and deliver them within deadlines.

Technical Requirements:

Development experience, knowledge & skills:

• Microservices
• Event-Driven Development
• API integrations (with Payment Gateways is a way better)
• Basic Cryptography & Security practices
• Writing and managing Python Packages / SDKs
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD
• Logging best practices (especially in distributed systems)
• Previous experience with payment method integrations will be considered as an advantage
