Data-Engineer / ML-Engineer

Our client – SameSystem - a global leader in retail workforce management, SameSystem provides a solution developed by retailers, for retailers. Their platform enables businesses to efficiently plan, adapt, and optimize their workforce – increasing sales while reducing labor costs.

Now, SameSystem is looking for a Data Engineer / ML Engineer to join their innovative team and help shape the future of retail. Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain ETL pipelines to support the ML lifecycle.
• Manage and optimize data infrastructure.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for ML workflow.
• Implement and maintain model versioning, tracking and experiment management tools (e.g., MLflow, DVC).
• Build infrastructure for data validation and monitoring.
• Operationalize machine learning models.
• Experience with time-series forecasting is a bonus.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in relevant domain.
• Proven experience in ETL, deploying and maintaining ML models and MLOps-related projects.

Soft skills:

• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Flexibility in managing a diverse range of projects.
• We work in a small but agile team; the candidate must be adaptive to fast-paced projects.
• Excellent written and spoken proficiency in both Lithuanian and English.
