Senior Product Owner

We’re looking for a Senior Product Owner who brings a strong product mindset, a sharp sense of prioritization, and the ability to turn strategy into clear execution — and ideas into real outcomes.

This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on product delivery. You’ll work closely with a cross-functional squad and contribute directly to building a brand-new product from the ground up — through launch, adoption, and iteration.

What you’ll do

· Contribute to the product vision, helping translate strategic goals into viable, usable, and valuable solutions.

· Own and manage the product backlog: define and maintain well-structured epics, user stories, and tasks, prioritizing based on impact and feasibility.

· Lead squad ceremonies (planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews) and keep the team aligned and focused.

· Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, QA, data analysts, content, and UX researchers to deliver a cohesive user experience.

· Monitor product performance and user feedback to inform continuous improvement.

· Be a hands-on partner in execution, balancing tactical decisions with a clear understanding of product strategy.

What we’re looking for

· Solid experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in digital products — preferably involved in multiple end-to-end delivery cycles.

· Proven ability to prioritize, structure, and communicate clearly across tech and business teams.

· Strong understanding of modern product practices (backlog slicing, hypothesis-driven development, iterative delivery).

· Product training or certification from schools like Product School, Reforge, Mind the Product, Tera, PM3, or similar.

· Strong business mindset, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and design teams.

· Fluent English (spoken and written) — all documentation and team communication is in English.

· Residence in Portugal or legal right to live and work in Portugal (required).

· Portuguese is a nice-to-have.
