As a Frontend Developer Intern, you’ll join our frontend engineering team to help craft the user-facing side of our Smart TV applications. Under the guidance of senior engineers, you’ll contribute to architecture discussions, implement interactive UI components, and support the deployment processes for features used by millions of viewers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and document UI components and pages using modern web technologies.
• Participate in peer reviews; collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and UX designers to deliver cohesive features.
• Follow sprint ceremonies, maintain clear documentation, and keep tickets up‑to‑date.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with JavaScript and at least one modern framework (ideally React).
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3 (including Flexbox/Grid), and responsive design principles.
• Exposure to frontend testing tools or frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Jest); eagerness to learn test‑driven development.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs from coursework or personal projects.
• Strong verbal and written skills; ability to give and receive feedback in a team setting.
  
  
  

Desirable skills

• Coursework or personal projects using React, including hooks and component architecture.
• Familiarity with the HTML5 video element and libraries like HLS.js or Shaka Player.
• Interest in improving web accessibility and optimizing load times.
